May 28-29, 2007 -- Neo-con cabal born in treason in the late 1970s. Lying, massive fraud, illegal weapons smuggling, forged documents . . . all sound like a description of the lead-up to the war in Iraq. However, this same situation existed in the late 1970s. Some of the same players who got this nation into the bloody quagmire of Iraq also criminally conspired to bring down the administration of President Jimmy Carter. President Carter's indignation about the neo-cons -- their blind support for Israel, their whittling away of our Constitution, our neo-con foreign policy -- is rooted in the treason they committed against the United States during his administration. There is no statute of limitations on treason and the neo-cons should face double barrel treason charges from incidents a generation apart.

The neo-con attacks on President Carter were planned in the office of the late Democratic Senator from Washington, Henry "Scoop" Jackson. Jackson was the Joe Lieberman of his day -- more concerned about representing the interests of a defense contractor, Boeing (Lieberman represents the interests of General Dynamics), and the expansionists and military-intelligence complex of Israel (as does Lieberman). Jackson's treason against the United States is honored today in Britain, where the Henry Jackson Society pushes the neo-con agenda in the British Parliament and media. Jackson, his chief assistant, Richard Perle, and foreign and defense policy aides Frank Gaffney, William Kristol, Douglas Feith, and Elliott Abrams, as well as unofficial Jackson adviser Paul Wolfowitz, did everything possible to derail U.S.-Soviet detente and arms limitation treaties, including the Strategic Arms Limitation Treaty (SALT II). Jackson and Perle helped initiate sanctions against the USSR, at the expense of American farmers, with the help of Ohio Democratic Rep. Charles Vanik (the Jackson-Vanik sanctions act). Jackson's Coalition for a Democratic Majority (CDM) was the "Democratic Leadership Council" of its time. CDM worked tirelessly to damage President Carter and among its ranks were, in addition to Jackson, Texas Democratic Senator Lloyd Bentsen, Oklahoma Senator David Boren, Georgia Senator Sam Nunn, Louisiana Senator J. Bennett Johnston, Ben Wattenberg, Irving Kristol, Max Kampelman, Richard Pipes, John Roche, Samuel Huntington, and James Woolsey. In 1976, the CDM helped form the Committee on the Present Danger, reactivated in 2004 by Lieberman, Arizona Republican Senator Jon Kyl, Laurie Mylroie, Norman Podhoretz, Frank Gaffney, American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), Boeing, American Enterprise Institute, and the Heritage Foundation.

The treason committed by these neo-cons against the Carter administration centered on machinations in Rome (Rome was also at the center of the later conspiracy to drive the United States into war in Iraq). Arch neo-con and foreign policy adviser to Karl Rove, Michael Ledeen, served as the Rome correspondent for The New Republic from 1975 to 1977 and a journalist for the right-wing Milan newspaper Il Giornale. In Rome, Ledeen cultivated close ties with neo-fascist groups.

Jackson's and his staff's first documented case of treason against the United States concerned the leak of a Top Secret CIA report on the SALT talks by CIA nuclear weapons analyst Daniel S. Sullivan to Jackson and Perle in 1978. Sullivan, believing the Soviets deceived the U.S. in SALT talks, took it upon himself to pass Top Secret information to Jackson and his band of neo-cons. However, rather than being prosecuted, Sullivan was permitted to resign due to "insubordination," not illegally passing classified information to unauthorized persons. Sullivan later joined the staff of Senator Bentsen and received another Top Secret clearance as a member of Bentsen's staff. The conspiracy by Sullivan, Jackson, and the neo-cons to derail a major policy initiative of President Carter was not the only act of treason by these early neo-cons.

However, the leak of the Top Secret SALT CIA document to Jackson may not have been the only leak to have taken place. In February 2005, the Everett (WA) Herald reported that five federal agents from the Departments of Defense and Energy removed several documents from the archived papers of Jackson housed at the University of Washington's Suzzallo-Allen Library. The seized documents were re-classified by the government. The retention by Jackson and his staff of top secret documents is reminiscent of the Larry Franklin-AIPAC case, in which Franklin, opposed to U.S. policy on Iran, passed a number of classified CIA documents to AIPAC and the Israeli embassy's Mossad station in Washington.

Rather than being treated as the traitor he was, Jackson is today lauded by Democrats of various political stripes. His ideological descendants are at the core of the Republican pre-emptive strike foreign policy machinations.

In 1976, two years after Secretary of State Henry Kissinger threatened then-Italian Foreign Minister Aldo Moro against forming a coalition with the Communists, Jackson, on a trip to Italy, issued a similar warning to Moro. In Phillip Willan's Puppetmasters, Moro's widow recounted Kissinger's warning, which was undoubtedly echoed by Jackson: "You must abandon your policy of bringing all the political forces in your country into direct collaboration . . . or you will pay dearly for it." Moro was kidnapped for 55 days by so-called Red Brigades, who were later found to be in the service of Italian fascists, Italian intelligence, the P-2 Masonic Lodge, a parallel SID [Italian Defense Intelligence Service], and the CIA. Some of these same elements would be behind the infamous Niger yellowcake forgeries used by the neo-cons to prove a case for war against Iraq.

The same neo-con network would alter Mehmet Ali Agca, the would-be assassin of Pope John Paul II, from a right-wing member of the Turkish Gray Wolves to a Communist in the employ of the KGB and Bulgarian intelligence. The Judith Miller-like journalist in those days who spun the story about Agca's Soviet Bloc connections was Claire Sterling, whose disinformation was quickly picked up by The Reader's Digest, New York Times, NBC News, and other mainstream media outlets. Sterling's fellow disinformation journalist was Ledeen.

Agca told a fantasy story about his orders to kill the Pope coming from a Bulgarian "control officer" and that he had also been involved in a plot to kill Polish Solidarity leader Lech Walesa, Tunisian President Habib Bourguiba, and Malta's Prime Minister Dom Mintoff. In fact, there was a plot to overthrow and possibly kill Mintoff, Allende-style, but it was being crafted by U.S. Navy intelligence in conjunction with the neo-fascist and renegade Italian intelligence elements in Rome. The U.S. Navy wanted to overthrow Mintoff to gain access to its former NATO base on the island nation off the Libyan coast. Bourguiba was not popular with the neo-cons because he allowed Yasir Arafat's Palestine Liberation Organization to maintain its headquarters-in-exile in Tunis.

The Turkish Gray Wolves and the pan-Turkic National Action Party (NAP) made common cause with the neo-cons and their Israeli friends. The Wolves and the NAP considered the peoples of Soviet Central Asia to be "captive Turks." The Turkish right-wing nationalists foresaw a nuclear-armed Turkey extending from Thrace to the central Asian steppes. The anti-Soviet concordat between the Turkish right (and the Turkish intelligence agency MIT) and the neo-cons in America, Israel, and Italy would later serve as a basis for the political alliance between AIPAC and the American Turkish Council.

Ledeen operated a right-wing cell in Rome that included Francesco Pazienza, an Italian businessman linked to P-2, Italian SISMI military intelligence chief General Giuseppe Santovito, and the mafia; P-2 "Venerable Master" Licio Gelli; and Banco Ambrosiano chief Roberto Calvi (later murdered Masonic ritual-style in London on Blackfriar's Bridge). Ledeen provided a conduit between this group and Ronald Reagan's Secretary of State Alexander Haig.

In an attempt to embarrass President Carter during the 1980 presidential race, Santovito, Pazienza, and Ledeen conspired to entrap Bill Carter, the president's brother, into a business relationship with Libyan leader Muammar Qaddafi. La Repubblica reported on the Italian investigation into the conspiracy:

"The scandalous material was gathered mostly by Pazienza and by his American friend Michael Ledeen . . . Pazienza availed himself of SISMI both for the use of some secret agents and for the expenses of organizing the scandalous plan. It seems that the organizers got a huge payoff for "Billygate." Moreover, Santovito and Pazienza got great advantage in return from American officials, in fact, may have been helped in other obscure affairs. The "Billygate" operation did not come from SISMI's institutionally mandated task, and for that reason Judge Sica brought charges of pursuing private interests through official activities." [Translated in Diana Johnstone, "The Ledeen Connection," In These Times, Sept. 8-14, 1982].

Rather than being charged and prosecuted for treason against the United States, Ledeen was rewarded with a consulting job for the State Department and Pentagon in the Reagan administration, a position from which he was free to continue his anti-American activities with fellow traitors from the Henry Jackson staff.

While the traitors in the Washington office of Jackson and Ledeen in Rome were conspiring against President Carter, George H. W. Bush, Carter National Security Council staffer Robert Gates, and William Casey criminally conspired with the Ayatollah Khomeini's government to keep 52 hostages held in Tehran captive in return for the shipment of weapons. A meeting between Casey, Gates, and Bush and Iranian agents was held on October 19, 1980 in what became known as the "October Surprise." The deal was worked out using As WMR has previously reported, the CIA arranged a pre-election weapons shipment, unknown to President Carter, to Iran on the SS Poet from Chester, PA to Iran. The Poet was later disposed of along with its American crew by U.S. intelligence or those in its service. And what magazine later debunked the "October Surprise" story of a Bush-Casey treasonous deal with Iran? None other than Ledeen's old employer, The New Republic.

The Bush administration has released a directive called the National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive. The directive released on May 9th, 2007 has gone almost unnoticed by the mainstream and alternative media. This is understandable considering the huge Ron Paul and immigration news but this story is equally as huge. In this directive, Bush declares that in the event of a “Catastrophic Emergency”, the President will be entrusted with leading the activities to ensure constitutional government. The language in this directive would in effect make the President a dictator in the case of such an emergency.

The directive defines a “Catastrophic Emergency” as the following.

"Catastrophic Emergency" means any incident, regardless of location, that results in extraordinary levels of mass casualties, damage, or disruption severely affecting the U.S. population, infrastructure, environment, economy, or government functions;

So what does this mean? This is entirely subjective and doesn’t provide any real concrete definition of what such an emergency would entail. Assuming that it means a disaster on the scale of the 9/11 attacks or Katrina, there is no question that the United States at some point in time will experience an emergency on par with either of those events. When one of those events takes place, the President will be a dictator in charge of ensuring a working constitutional government.

The language written in the directive is disturbing because it doesn’t say that the President will work with the other branches of government equally to ensure a constitutional government is protected. It says clearly that there will be a cooperative effort among the three branches that will be coordinated by the President. If the President is coordinating these efforts it effectively puts him in charge of every branch. The language in the directive is entirely Orwellian in nature making it seem that it is a cooperative effort between all three branches but than it says that the President is in charge of the cooperative effort.

The directive defines Enduring Constitutional Government as the following.

"Enduring Constitutional Government," or "ECG," means a cooperative effort among the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of the Federal Government, coordinated by the President, as a matter of comity with respect to the legislative and judicial branches and with proper respect for the constitutional separation of powers among the branches, to preserve the constitutional framework under which the Nation is governed and the capability of all three branches of government to execute constitutional responsibilities and provide for orderly succession, appropriate transition of leadership, and interoperability and support of the National Essential Functions during a catastrophic emergency;

Further on in the document it states the following.

The President shall lead the activities of the Federal Government for ensuring constitutional government.

This directive on its face is unconstitutional because each branch of government the executive, legislative and judicial are supposed to be equal in power. By putting the President in charge of coordinating such an effort to ensure constitutional government over all three branches is effectively making the President a dictator allowing him to tell all branches of government what to do.

Even worse is the fact that the directive states that the Secretary of Homeland Security will serve as the lead for coordinating overall continuity operations. We already know that the Homeland Security department is not really working to secure the homeland. Instead the Homeland Security department is really working to enslave the homeland just like the Home Office over in the United Kingdom has made that country an Orwellian hell of closed-circuit TV spy cameras. If such an emergency is declared, we can only guess what sort of surprises the Homeland Enslavement department will have for us.

The directive itself recognizes that each branch is already responsible for directing their own continuity of government procedures. If that’s the case than why does the President need to coordinate these procedures for all of the branches? This is nothing more than a power grab that centralizes power and will make the President a dictator in the case of a so called “Catastrophic Emergency”.

It is insane that this directive claims that its purpose is to define procedures to protect a working constitutional government when the very language in the document destroys what a working constitutional government is supposed to be. A working constitutional government contains a separation of powers between three equally powerful branches and this directive states that the executive branch has the power to coordinate the activities of the other branches. This directive is a clear violation of constitutional separation of powers and there should be angry protests from our legislators about this anti-American garbage that came from the President.

Democracy in Iraq, Tyranny at Home?

The Washington, DC, think-tank, The American Enterprise Institute, camouflages its purpose with its name. There is nothing American about AEI, and the organization's enterprise is fomenting war in the Middle East against Israel's enemies. Its real name should be The Likud Center for Middle East War.

AEI has the largest collection of warmongers in America. AEI "scholars" have agitated for war in the Middle East for years. A moronic president and 9/11 gave them their opportunity.

Now that the US invasions and occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan have failed, the AEI warmongers are conspiring with Vice President Cheney to foment war with Iran.

Writing in The Washington Note, Steven C. Clemons reports that Cheney is working with the AEI warmongers to short-circuit the efforts of Bush's secretaries of defense and state to find a diplomatic solution. Clemons reports that one former high level national security official describes the Cheney-AEI conspiracy as possibly an act of "criminal insubordination" against President Bush.

Now that the Democrats have betrayed their mandate of last November to end Bush's war against Iraq and given Bush carte blanche to continue the gratuitous bloodshed, the neoconservative plan, spearheaded by Vice President Cheney, to initiate aggression against Iran is back on the front burner.

Disinformation is being fed to the media that Iran is responsible for attacks on US troops in Iraq. This disinformation is routinely reported without skepticism by the American media in the face of challenges from experts. For example, a recent British report concludes: "few independent analysts believe Tehran is playing a decisive role in the sectarian warfare and insurgency."

While the Cheney/AEI conspirators strive to whip up American anger at Iran with lies and disinformation, they are doing everything possible to provoke Iran. The warmongers have planted the story in the media that the US is conducting covert operations against Iran. The US Navy is conducting "exercises" off Iran's coast. The US military in Iraq has violated diplomatic privilege and kidnapped Iranian officials in Iraq despite protests from the Iraqi and Iranian governments. The US government is stirring up more trouble in Lebanon by setting extremists Sunnis against Iran's Hezbollah ally. In short, the US government is doing everything possible to start a war with Iran. Bombing Iran, perhaps after a contrived "false flag" operation, is the next step.

Bush continues to tell his favorite lies that he is bringing "freedom and democracy to Iraq" and that Muslims hate us because of our "freedom and democracy." He continues to make these inane assertions even as he ignores the will of the American people and destroys habeas corpus, the foundation of civil liberty.

Bush ignores the will of the people as expressed in last November's congressional elections and as expressed in opinion polls. The New York Times/CBS News poll released May 24 shows another sharp drop in public support for Bush and his war. America is "seriously off on the wrong track" was the response of 72 percent of the public.

President Bush, the Republican Party, and the Democratic Party have proved to the entire world that the American people have no voice.
The American people have no more ability to affect their government's policy than inmates in a gulag would have.

What do people in other countries think when they hear Bush prattle on about "freedom and democracy" while he ignores opinion polls and election results and detains people without warrants, tortures them, and puts them before military tribunals in which they are denied even knowing the evidence against them? Bush has contrived a situation for defendants in which no defense is possible. In Bush's America, people can be executed on the basis of hearsay and secret evidence.

If this is "freedom and democracy," what is tyranny?

Recent polls show that the majority of the American people are no longer fooled, no matter what politicians say and media report. The election last November demonstrated the electorate's lack of support for continuing the war.

The problem is in implementing the will of the people. Democrats in Congress are not only recipients of AIPAC, oil industry, and military-security complex payoffs just as the Republicans are, Democrats are also behaving very cynically. They believe that it is Bush's policy that gave them control of Congress in November and that by continuing to let Bush prevail, they will clean up on a larger scale in 2008.

They believe that their antiwar base has nowhere else to go.

Their cynical logic is probably correct as far as it goes. Bush is being blamed for the war and its failure. The longer this goes on, the worse the situation for the Republicans. Prior to Bush's invasion of Iraq, I wrote in a column that the unintended consequences of an invasion would be the destruction of Bush, the Republican Party, and the conservative movement. It has taken longer than I thought, largely because of Americans' blind desire for revenge for 9/11, but the prediction is on track.

The problem with the Democrats' cynical logic is that allowing Bush to prolong the war in Iraq increases the chances that Cheney, Israel, and the neoconservatives can contrive a war with Iran. Most experts, and many in our own military, think that a war
with Iran would go very badly for us, endangering our troops in Iraq by exposing them to more intense attacks from the more numerous Shiites, who would be armed with Iranian weapons that can neutralize our tanks and helicopters, leaving our fragmented and divided troops isolated and cut off from supplies and retreat routes.

The pending disaster would play into Cheney's hands. With America faced with the loss of an army, Cheney and the neoconservatives would likely succeed in convincing Bush to nuke Iran. Cheney and Rumsfeld have already changed US war doctrine to permit preemptive nuclear attack against non-nuclear powers. Surprised by the inability of the US military to prevail in Iraq and by Israel's military failure against Hezbollah, the neocons concluded that the only way to establish US/Israeli hegemony over the entire Middle East is to nuke Iran. The neocons believe that using nuclear weapons against Iran will demonstrate to the Muslim world that they have no alternative but to submit to US hegemony.

The Democrats are far from being alone in lacking the vision to see the abyss into which their cynicism is leading us. With the corporate media serving as propaganda ministry for the administration, Cheney will be able to whip up enough fear and anger to convince the American people that the use of nuclear weapons was imperative.

Bush's popularity will return as he prevails over the enemy and tells Americans how he saved them from Iran's nuclear weapons. The Democrats' cynicism will have destroyed them and opened new avenues to destruction and violence.

Whew! Thank God that's over!

The mighty wind you hear coming from Washington today is the huge sigh of relief from Democratic leaders, glad that they can now drop all the political posturing about ending the war in Iraq and get back on board with the imperial program. With the crushing defeat yesterday of what was purported to be a bill to "end" the war, Senate Majority Leader Harry "Give 'Em Mild Heck" Reid moved quickly to give the Dear Leader all the money he needs to keep feeding the Babylonian inferno with the dead bodies of Iraqi citizens and American soldiers.

In fact, the bill in question, the Feingold Plan, would not have actually ended the illegal occupation of Iraq -- God forbid! However, it would have curtailed the extent of the war crime to some degree -- withdrawing "combat forces" but keeping troops in Iraq for "counterterrorism" (and aren't we constantly told that all the Iraqi insurgents are "terrorists"?) and "training Iraqi forces" and protecting the fortress embassy being constructed in the heart of Baghdad. But even this slight slackening of the garrotte would not have taken effect until April 2008 -- or after 10 more months of savage "surging" by Bush and his sectarian death-squadding allies. (Such as this kind of thing.)

In any case, it was well-known that the bill was dead on arrival and had no chance of passing; that's precisely why the Democratic leaders put it up for consideration. It was a PR exercise to give political cover to those Democrats whose ambitions have forced them to at least nod toward the "consent of the governed," as clearly expressed in the anti-war vote last year. But now that the stunt is over, it's back to bipartisan business. As the New York Times reports:

After the vote, Senator Harry Reid of Nevada, the majority leader and a co-sponsor of the Feingold plan, said he was committed to delivering legislation acceptable to Mr. Bush by the end of next week. He conceded that the compromise was likely to disappoint war opponents who had pushed Congress to set a pull-out date...

In the end, the only proposal to pass the Senate [with overwhelming Democratic support] was a resolution by Senator Thad Cochran of Mississippi, senior Republican on the Appropriations Committee, which urged Congress to provide about $95 billion sought by the president for the war before Memorial Day.

Of course, those "war opponents" who will be "disappointed" that the Democrats failed to pass the Feingold "mild curtailment of the slaughter" bill include the majority of citizens in the United States who now oppose the war and want to see it brought to an end, according to all polls. This why they voted the Democrats into power in last year's election -- to do something about stopping the war.

It was a vain hope, of course. The Democrats (with a handful of honorable exceptions) had already displayed their preternatural spinelessness throughout the Bush imperium, culminating in their failure last fall to mount a proper, furious, public, frenzied -- if doomed -- resistance to the "Military Commissions Act," the anti-Magna Carta measure that transformed the United States into a banana republic run by a tyrannical "Unitary Executive" and his military junta. (The essence of the bill allows the unchallengeable Commander-in-Chief to declare anyone on earth an "enemy combatant" and keep them chained up indefinitely, with only one legal recourse allowed: a military tribunal, set up by the Commander, for those captives he decides to put to the question. As for the rest, they can rot forever at his pleasure.)

The Democrats, afraid of looking "soft" on terrorism, put up only the most token, tepid defense of the Constitutional Republic and let the MCA sail through, all the while telling their supporters with a wink: "This is just tactical. Wait till we win back Congress in November, then we'll get rid of this law." Yet the mephitic measure remains on the books, in full force -- five months after the Democrats were sworn in.

It was therefore the height of folly -- or the depths of desperation -- to believe that these Democrats would do anything substantial to upset the imperial apple-cart that Bush has set rolling through the Middle East and Central Asia. They are too cowardly, too co-opted, too corrupt and too comfortable to challenge the long-standing, bipartisan policies of loot and domination that have burdened us with a vast empire of more than 730 military bases on every continent, and endless, churning wars -- overt and covert, direct and proxy -- all over the world.

After all, the Democratic leaders are among the elite who have profited most handsomely from the imperial arrogance that has bankrupted the national treasury, distorted the economy, perverted our society and left Americans more at threat than ever before. The Democratic Establishmentarians, like their Republican counterparts, are wealthy, well-fed, well-wadded and secure behind their phalanxes of state and private security. The actual effects of their policies -- the death, grief, ruin, hardship, suffering and fear they inflict on ordinary people, at home and abroad -- never touch the elite. They hear the cries as from a great distance, they see the destruction as through a glass, darkly. And so it will go on, and on, and on. The Democrats -- especially these Democrats -- are not going to stop it. ***

US government fans homeland terrorism fear
Washington consensus plans for martial law, nuclear terror holocaust, behind closed doors

The US government and Washington elites are aggressively ramping up their "war on terrorism" rhetoric and propaganda, stoking fear and paranoia in order to bolster their war agenda, and reinvigorate the mass public perception of new and growing "homegrown terrorism" threats to the US homeland.

The next phase of America’s war abroad (under the management of a post-Bush neocon/neoliberal consensus), and the deepening militarization of the US homeland towards a full police state, are well underway.

Who or what was behind the Fort Dix Six?

On May 8, 2007, six foreign-born Muslims were arrested during an attempt to purchase assault weapons, and accused of plotting a terror attack on Fort Dix (New Jersey), as well as an assault on a Pennsylvania Navy installation.

While evidence regarding this case continues to unfold, what is clear is that the FBI and US intelligence had been infiltrated and monitored over an extensive period, as early as January 2006. An unnamed "shadowy informer", likely an intelligence asset, is the key figure behind this operation and the arrest.

An objective analysis of the Fort Dix incident leads to questions about US military-intelligence involvement, and the use of the incident as a pretext:

"There is no doubt that the actions of the US military around the world are provoking a level of disgust and anger that could well produce misguided terrorist attacks within the US itself. Nonetheless, the various terrorist ‘plots’ exposed by the Bush administration have virtually without exception been characterized by a similar lack of any real preparation for violence combined with the central role of a covert informant/agent provocateur."

In each of these cases, the supposed conspiracy has been heavily publicized in a transparent bid to justify the ongoing military occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan and to create a climate of fear in order to suppress democratic rights in the US itself.

"The exposure of the latest alleged plot has coincided with an unprecedented political crisis for the administration. With the president’s standing in the polls falling to record lows and US military casualties in Iraq increasing as the quagmire in the occupied country deepens, the political motive for unveiling another supposed terrorist threat from within is abundantly clear."

The Fort Dix suspects allegedly came to the attention of authorities after one of them was fingered by a Circuit City store manager while requesting to dub a terrorism training videotape from VHS to DVD. This bungling is reminiscent of the actions of the so-called 9/11 hijackers (all of them guided US intelligence assets), and suggests low-level and amateurish "patsies", guided and set up by larger forces.

This foiled "spectacular" terror plot comes shortly after the bizarre Virginia Tech massacre (which, perhaps coincidentally, bears striking similarities to other "manchurian candidate" incidents such as the Robert F. Kennedy assassination and the attempted assassination of Ronald Reagan by John Hinckley) successfully sparked fear across the country, and ignited new calls from citizens to "make our children safe".

The clear political beneficiary of both the Fort Dix and V Tech episodes are the same: Homeland Security.

The emerging "homegrown" threat

When asked if the Fort Dix arrests had any connection to Al-Qaeda, the Bush administration immediately stated that there is "no direct evidence of a foreign terrorist tie".

This telling break, from the administration’s known pattern (seizing every opportunity to attribute violence to "Al-Qaeda", "Islamo-fascists", etc.) suggests that the new and overriding "war on terrorism" imperative favored by the Washington neocon-neoliberal consensus involves the threat of "homegrown" terrorism.

According to FBI agent J.P. Weis, who announced the arrest of the Fort Dix suspects, "these homegrown terrorists can prove to be as dangerous as any known group, if not more so. They operate under the radar."

This rhetoric coincides with a larger effort on the part of elite policy shapers to manufacture, and sell, a nightmare scenario to an American public that is beginning to distrust its government, at the very moment that the real possibility of a resource-depleted post-Peak Oil American dystopia, the decline of the American empire, is beginning to hit home in earnest.

The "Preventive Defense Project": martial law and nuclear holocaust in the United States

In a series of closed-door sessions in Washington, a panel of high level government and military officials, security "experts" are constructing a homeland security plan that would include martial law and the suspension of civil liberties.

Financed and organized by a joint Stanford-Harvard program known as the "Preventative Defense Project", and led by the hawkish former Clinton administration defense secretary William Perry, and Harvard’s Ashton Carter (another Clinton defense department official), this panel of 41 "security experts", directors of US nuclear weapons labs, and Homeland Security officials operatives are constructing a "blueprint" for the scenario that "Al-Qaeda" or another terrorist group with nuclear weapons will strike the United States.

The panel has concluded that such a terror strike would cause catastrophic destruction and death, "cause a possible disintegration of government order", halt economic activity and unravel social order itself. The overriding objective of this panel, therefore, revolves around ways to maintain "order" and control the civilian populace.

In a workshop called "The Day After", panel declared that preventing such a terror strike (similar in size to a Hiroshima-style detonation) was no longer enough, and that the "collapse of government order was so great, that a contingency plan is needed.

In an example of breathless and hawkish speculation, Carter declared: "We have had glimpses of something like this with Hiroshima, and glimpses with 9/11 and Katrina. But those are only glimpses. If one bomb goes off, there are likely to be more to follow. This fact, that nuclear terrorism will appear as a syndrome rather than as a single episode, has major consequences".

(The chaos of all three historical incidents cited by Carter were the result of government-orchestrated criminal aggression, two of them mass murders of the domestic US population. Carter, of course, did not acknowledge this.)

Another panelist was Fred Ikle, former defense department official during the Reagan-Bush Iran/Contra era, and author of a 2006 book, "Annihilation from Within". Ikle’s book, and his work on the panel, aggressively promotes the suspension of civil liberties and the imposition of martial law.

Steven Fetter, dean of the University of Maryland School of Public Policy, and one of the panelists, believes that "cities would empty and people would completely lose confidence in the ability of the government to protect them. You’d have nothing that resembles our current social order. I’m not sure any preparation can be sufficient to deal with that."

Like many others, Fetter pushes the unfounded assumption that the US government protects its citizens, ignoring the fact (exemplified by 9/11 and the "war on terrorism") that the civilian populace is under ongoing attack from the government itself.

It is no surprise that these policies are being hatched behind closed doors, by elites, and military-intelligence operatives and other "architects of reality", with no involvement from the citizenry. It is, however, yet another ominous sign of things to come.

Nothing has been done to undo the Patriot Act, or end such things as illegal domestic spying and surveillance of American citizens. Nothing will be.

The world’s elites, from the "Preventive Defense Project" to the Council on Foreign Relations and other intelligence "think tanks", are actively engineering future policies for a nightmare scenario (both the orchestration of scenario itself, as with 9/11, as well as in response to "disorder" and civilian unrest.

Real and fake terrorism: products of Washington

It is a fact that "Islamic terrorism" has always been a "homegrown" product.

"Al Qaeda" and "Militant Islam" are creations of, and guided assets still working at the behest of, Anglo-American intelligence (the CIA, Pakistan’s ISI, etc.). Anglo-American involvement behind "terrorism", and the manufacture of the "war on terrorism", exhaustively documented in Michel Chossudovsky’s America's "War on Terrorism" , Michael C. Ruppert’s Crossing the Rubicon:The Decline of the American Empire at the End of the Age of Oil , and other investigations, continue to be the focus of ongoing official cover-up. As Michel Chossudovsky points out in "The Anglo-American War of Terror: An Overview":

"One of the main objectives of war propaganda is to ‘fabricate an enemy’. As anti-war sentiment grows and the political legitimacy the Bush Administration falters, doubts regarding the existence of this illusive ‘outside enemy’ must be dispelled.

"Propaganda purports not only to drown the truth but also to ‘kill the evidence’ on how this ‘outside enemy’, namely Osama bin Laden’s Al Qaeda was fabricated and transformed into ‘Enemy Number One’. The entire National Security doctrine centers on the existence of an ‘outside enemy’ which is threatening the Homeland."

It has been clear for months that the scandal-ridden Bush administration, collapsing under the weight of its own criminality, and plummeting public confidence and political support, is desperate to manufacture the appearance of progress, even triumph, in its waning months. In order to portray themselves as the Homeland’s premier "anti-terrorist" saviors, Bush and his functionaries must now attempt to sell their ability to solve to bogus problem with "terror" arrests and foiled plots, which have recently included the capture and execution of certain key Al-Qaeda" figures.

The official "Al-Qaeda" narrative itself is being given a makeover. "Al-Qaeda", "on the move", is being implanted into the Anglo-American empire’s new hot spots, the new targets of Western military-intelligence intervention, such as Iraq, Irbil (near Iran), Somalia and even Gaza.

In addition, with America’s Middle East war agenda derailing under Bush-Cheney management, new bipartisan political desperation to "restore order", shared by neocons and neoliberals alike, is resulting in a push towards a new and even more dangerous phase of the "war on terrorism", and an increased potential for new manufactured crises and "new 9/11s".

It is no surprise that most if not all of the so-called Democratic congressional opposition to the Bush administration uniformly embraces the "war on terrorism". In fact, evidenced by recent debates between Democratic presidential candidates (Hillary Clinton, John Edwards, Barack Obama, etc.), the Democrats advocate aggressive Homeland Security and renewed ("even better") "security" policies and improved ways to "kill terrorists", expand Bush’s world war, and militarily intervene in new areas of "national security" interest. Far from being genuine opponents of the Bush-Cheney agenda, the Democrats are fully complicit.

Gullible, paranoid and violent US citizenry

Lurid news coverage of the Fort Dix plot, the Virginia Tech massacre, and "war on terrorism" and a steady diet of "anti-terror" entertainment such as the television series 24, continue to spark panic and constant fear of "terrorism threats" among US citizens.

Reaction to the Fort Dix incident among the acquiescent and complacent populace has been uniformly paranoid, marked by saber-rattling and war-mongering. Some portions of the United States have been reverted quickly to the immediate post-9/11 mindset. A fear-struck populace is easily led.

The real threat remains the same

What the world must continue to take seriously is not a threatened strike by "terrorists", but the violent desperation of a stumbling New World Order that 1) compounds its criminal despair by continuing to commit terrorism and "run" terror groups to achieve its political purposes (the foremost being energy and resource conquest), 2) engage in terroristic provocations (foment backlash, or "blowback"), 3) wittingly and unwittingly creates new insurgencies and opposition from victimized populaces and occupied nations.

As it was on the morning of 9/11, all eyes must remain locked on the guilty parties in Washington---the political criminals who are "above the law", armed with the power to manipulate, control and exterminate broad sections of humanity, within the US homeland and abroad.

A Nation in Silent Anger

05/09/07 "ICH " -- - Can you hear that deep, silent anger inside you, pounding like a heavy iron fist on a wooden door, banging relentlessly every time you notice the America of your dreams vanish more each and every day, instead becoming a most unwelcome nightmare that you are impotent to wake up from? Can you feel the hollow pain in your bones, the restlessness running through your veins every time another freedom is gutted or another right is eviscerated, every time your government climbs one more step up the stairwell of corporatism?
Can you feel the reverberations of resentment echoing in your mind every time a politician votes to expand the power of the elitist and corporate world, once more ignoring the will of the constituency? Can you feel the frustration of being impotent to the machinations of a government once defined as of, by and for the People serving only the interests of money and becoming a government of, by and for the corporatist world?
Can you feel the collective anger of millions as the embedded myth of American exceptionalism is quashed through the attainment of knowledge, transforming the fictions of good into the realities of wickedness, mutating what we once believed into an inconvenient truth? Can you feel the betrayal of millions who for decades have been made to believe in the American myth of a nation benign and altruistic, only to become aware that only wickedness, greed and criminality define the Empire, that beyond the smoke and mirrors America’s government is ruthless, corporatist and concerned only for the interests of the elite?
If you can indeed feel the passions of anger and resentment, of pain and restlessness, of frustration and a sense of betrayal, you are not alone, for growing in this country can be heard a silent anger by a silent majority that has realized over the course of the last six years that there is something fundamentally wrong taking shape in their country. Thanks in large measure to 9/11 and the rise of the Internet, millions of human beings throughout the globe have confronted the perpetual conditioning, brainwashing, deception and propaganda disseminated by government and business to control and manipulate humanity.
In the last six years, the myths and fictions of yesteryear have given way to the reality and truth of today, almost as if the paradigm shift caused by 9/11 has managed to create a mental tidal wave of knowledge and truth seeking. Almost as if 9/11 shook the foundations of thought and the precepts of the real, almost as if it awoke millions of humans from the doldrums of hypnosis, today in the present can we see both the reality of the past and the ominous trends of the future. Today, more than ever, the myth of America is being eroded, it is being revealed for what it really is, exposing the lies and the corruptions and the criminality that has for decades been the norm, both in government and with so-called leaders.
The growing vibrations now being felt are the recalcitrant tremors of an awakening populace sensing a profound decadence destroying the very fabric of America. Millions now see with the clear eyes of knowledge, leaving behind the myopic deceptions of propaganda and brainwashing. Millions now realize the lies and deceptions they have been forced to live in and with for so long, living a life full of purposeful charades and delusions, spoon fed to us on a daily basis by our political overlords and the complicit lackeys we once confused for journalists. The enemies of reality are thus exposed to the growing army of truth.
In the thirst for knowledge that has absorbed millions of Americans who are tired of the lies and distortions fed to us by corporatist journalists and corporatist politicians, a strong realization has dawned that among many adversaries We the People face in corporatist America, two do substantial damage to our collective power. Millions of us are now aware, thanks to the wonders of the Internet, that America’s two party system is but a charade hiding a two headed hydra, or duopoly, oftentimes espousing the same ideology and platform. Indeed, since 9/11, one has become more conservative, thus more fascist, while the other, once liberal minded, has become what the conservative one used to be, practically replacing it with the same conservative thought of yesteryear. Yet both are mere fronts for the corporatist world, hiding the fact that democracy is extinct and choice is but a fantasy. In this post 9/11 world, both parties have shifted further right, further in pursuit of war, and further in the direction of imperial hubris. The end of one regime in 2008 will give rise to another, again switching heads but little else, once again having to prove to its masters that it can wage war and conquest, this time competently.
By the same token, the corporatist media has also become over the years, but especially since 9/11, a very dangerous adversary to We the People. This institution has the power of the television, the greatest weapon of mass control ever devised, and thus it possesses the power of influence, of control, and of concocting views and opinions. This adversary, once a bastion of truth and integrity, has over the years become a tool of corporatism to dictate reality and its version of truth to the people. It lies and deceives to protect the interests of corporations and the state, and its journalists turned propagandists do nothing to dispel the rumor that they are nothing but stenographers to those in power. The corporatist media has over the last six years hidden inconvenient truths from the people, as well as distracted us from reality through the tele-trash they saturate the airwaves with. By hiding truth now known through the Internet and telling us the endless lies of the state as if they are sacrosanct its true nature has been exposed for all to see. A greater adversary to truth and We the People does not presently exist.
Both adversaries are further discussed below.

Adversary One: Political Duopoly

Millions see that government and the corporate world have fused together, becoming bedfellows in the rape of the citizenry, slowly but surely transforming the world entire in the unyielding shadow of a small elite. Through greed and the addiction to power corporatism has been birthed, becoming an anti-Christ to billions of human beings, condemning all but a few at the top to evolved serfdom and slavery. The awakened have become aware that corporatism has become the enemy of the people, the greatest threat to humankind, the 21st century’s version of totalitarianism. The awakened have been forced to confront the truth that the state has itself stopped serving the people, becoming not our servant, but a malicious adversary, our corporatist master. In present day Earth, six and a half billion human beings are the enemy of the state, the corporatist state.
With new understanding and realized truths millions are uncovering their eyes to a matrix of deception and concocted fictions, seeing for the first time reality once hidden through a dark, impenetrable veil of fantasy. Today there exists a growing understanding that elected representatives have become the prostitutes of control and the elite, perpetually bending over, unzipping pants and welcoming in the thrusting commands of their masters. Impregnated by greed and power, inhabiting a cesspool of corruption and decadence, the so-called representatives of the people thus spawn the progeny of corruption and criminality, nurturing and rearing the growing corporatism creeping over our lives.
It is now understood that those elected to represent the people are traitors to the principles by which America stands, betraying their sworn duty to protect and defend the Constitution, our rights and freedoms. They have and continue to commit treason in the pursuit of protecting the interests of a foreign nation over those of the United States, choosing to accept subservience to today’s debased version of Sparta (not to mention today’s version of apartheid South Africa) while ignoring the long term health of America.
It is easily seen how these charlatans, born in wealth and elitism, being of diluted blood and long-extinct talent, possess only the skills to deceive, lie, cajole and enrich themselves and their interests, possessing the worst morals in humanity, being devoid of scruples or human decency, manipulating the masses into being elected, later betraying their voters by pursuing not the will of the people, but the investments of the elite.
This small club of miscreants – commonly called politicians – it has become well known, are the worst humanity has to offer, yet their kind are elected over and over again, with the masses forever falling for the never-ending stream of lies, spin, smiles, talking points and public relations stunts. These individuals rarely vote in the interests of the people, almost always choosing to strengthen corporatism, yet the people vote them in nonetheless. Theirs is an exclusive club where to join wealth and power and corruption must be presented and proved. They will do and say anything to get elected, becoming pathetic creatures of insecurity and immorality. The Congress, therefore, is a club of the elite, for the elite and by the elite, and only they and their progeny can join.
In the years since 9/11 those who have woken from their slumber have realized that there is no major difference between the two political parties in America. This duopoly, or two headed hydra, is but two sides of the same coin, representing the same corporatist interests, the same small elite that is invariably molding America further along the corporatist model.
While one party is more fascist and criminal than the other, they both nonetheless help to expand the world’s right-wing dogma, whether it is related to the political or business world. Regardless of which party controls the presidency, the interests of the corporate world, that bastion of authoritarianism and conservative thought, of wealth and elitism, together with its perpetual expansion of power and control, is always priority number one.
The usurpation and destruction of democracy, freedom and human rights around the world also becomes a priority if the strategic interests of America or that of her corporations is challenged by a liberal, leftist or nationalist leader caring about the wellbeing of his or her people. Whether a Republican or Democratic president sits in power, in the last sixty years America has overthrown more than 50 democratically elected leaders, either by coup, assassination or clandestine operations designed to subvert the will of the people. In place of democracy, America installs right-wing, conservative tyrants, dictators, puppets, proctors and kings, all supported, financially and politically, by whichever party retains power in America. This intervention will be done through war, if need be, or through clandestine pressure, regardless, as always, of party loyalty.
Regardless of party affiliation, government fills itself up with criminals and murderers, charlatans and corrupt miscreants, war mongers and greed addicts, all playing upon the illusion that democracy exists, that the will of the people is real. In reality, elections cannot be said to be democratic or free of fraud when only two parties are allowed to run candidates, are allowed to participate in debates, are given media time, and control the very apparatus that decides electoral reform and decision making. The charade that Americans have choice, that real differences exist between parties, that elections are democratic and not predetermined through manipulation, omission, distortion and selection of candidates by those in power is yet one more illusion that those who have woken up now see.
When one party seeks to start an illegal and immoral war and the other party does nothing to stop it, even though the blatant lies, deceptions and fictions used to sell the war are known and understood for the chicanery they are, it cannot be said that an opposition exists. When said war turns out to be the greatest strategic disaster in the history of the nation and the so-called opposite party remains silent and indifferent, it cannot be said that an opposition exists. When the Bush administration has proceeded to abrogate the Constitution, Bill of Rights, freedoms, liberties and rights of Americans, and the so-called opposition party stands idly by and in many instances votes to destroy those same principles, (think Patriot Act and its progeny, Military Commissions Act, Habeas Corpus, Posse Comitatus Act, martial law, wiretapping) it cannot be said that an opposition exists. When the Geneva Convention is ignored, torture becomes the new normal and gulags roam the planet, without so much as a whisper of dissent from Democrats, it cannot be said that an opposition exists.
When Democrats chose to remain silent when confronted about the truth of 9/11, when they refuse to acknowledge what really happened, when they ignore the voice of millions who want accountability, when they refuse to call for an independent investigation into the worst act of mass murder in American history, it cannot be said that an opposition exists. When the Republican Party has concocted a fictional war on terror, espousing perpetual fear for perpetual profit, exporting terror and insecurity to America, instilling fear into the American psyche, and the Democrats fail to speak out, act out, and try to stop the madness, it cannot be said that an opposition exists. When the Democratic Party chooses to play politics with the Iraq war, putting the expected attainment of presidential power in 2008 ahead of the lives of thousands of Iraqis and American soldiers, allowing Iraq to disintegrate further into hell in order to secure the presidency and the Congress, creating the illusion that it wants to end the war, yet knowing full well that it will continue well into the future, it cannot be said that an opposition exists.
With both parties beholden to the corporate world, to the Israel Lobby, to the same vices and corruptions, both eager to please their masters and the elite that support them, it cannot be said that true democracy still exists in America. When America’s foreign policy in the Middle East is decided and controlled by the state of Israel because AIPAC, JINSA, the American Enterprise Institute and New York moneyed elite are masters to those in Congress, democracy does not exist. When the military-industrial complex can dictate war, when it can pillage our treasury, aided and abetted by our so-called representatives, democracy does not exist.
In truth, the last two elections were stolen, becoming a fraud against the American people, yet the losing party hardly complained or fought for justice. It hardly fought to stop a war it knew was fraudulent from the very beginning, nor does it act to stop the criminal profit making schemes of the energy industry, which is raping the American citizenry. It does nothing as the middle class is destroyed, our jobs and salaries being eroded and dismantled, the easier to enslave and control us. The so-called opposition has done nothing as the evisceration of education continues unabated, destroying the intelligence and ability to reason of future generations. Knowing that 9/11 was an inside job, as dumb they are not, the so-called opposition bobs and weaves in the pathetic attempt to ignore truth and avoid confronting reality. When the truth serum is injected into their bodies, they can only wither and hide.
Such is the state of democracy in America today.

Adversary Two: Ministry of Truth

Thanks to a perpetual stream of lies, distortions, omissions and purposeful propaganda ever since 9/11 millions of human beings now see that news and media are but the stenographers and propagandists of corporatism, becoming the tools of brainwashing and conditioning, the means by which the fascist state controls us. The corporatist media hides truth, skewers reality and serves to condition us to the policies and machinations of those holding power. This is, sadly, the role to be played by corporatist media in the 21st century, becoming a tool of psychology, of hypnotizing the masses into ignoring what should not be divulged and to believing exactly what is disseminated.
If truth is ignored or made to disappear, if it ceases to be mentioned, then it never existed, it never happened, and it should be discarded and forgotten. If fiction is espoused and showcased, if it is allowed to permeate the airwaves, it is to be accepted as truth, becoming the reality we must believe in and accept. This is the function of the corporatist media, a branch of the Ministry of Truth, an office in the Department of Propaganda, a place where doublespeak is created and furthered, truth is erased from memory, fiction is given life, propaganda is nurtured, where enemies are concocted, fear and terror is disseminated, and reality is manufactured. In short, it is here where the front lines in the war against the American people is fought.
Acting as the propaganda tool of those at the highest echelons of power, the corporatist media serves to make viewers submissive patrons to the decisions of our rulers. When the Democratic Party secures the presidency in 2008, for example, the corporatist media will shift, as they always do, from supporting and facilitating the policies and lies of the Republicans to those of the Democrats, just as they did when Bush I gave way to Clinton and when Clinton gave way to Bush. This is, of course, the role of the sycophants, talking heads and stenographers who work for the corporatist media. They enable power, hide its lies, obfuscate its crimes, create consensus among the masses and promulgate submissiveness and acquiescence among the populace.
We are not allowed to know what those in power do not want us knowing, and this the corporatist media accomplishes by erasing from reality the truth thought inconvenient. Using the distraction of tele-trash and infotainment, of celebrity and gossip, of talking heads and talking points, of spin and counter spin, reality is therefore hidden and ignored, made to disappear from our minds. Instead, lies are propagated and given the aura of uncompromised truth. Myths are elevated to the realm of reality. In the end, up is down, black is white, freedom is slavery and war is peace.
Many Americans, for example, have now seen the blatant complicity of the corporatist media in concocting and selling an illegal war and occupation, in essence lying and deceiving us into a strategic disaster by granting lies a bully pulpit from which to manipulate minds and by ignoring the myriad number of truths that contradicted that same mountain of lies that led us into war. This media has kept war hidden from us so that it may continue, hiding its violent and malevolent reality, ignoring the death of hundreds of thousands, the maiming and plight of American soldiers, the complete debacle in Mesopotamia. It has failed to expose the deceptions and the lies, the criminality and corruption, the truth of the enemy America really fights. Instead, the propaganda is maintained, the illusion of Al-Qaeda as enemy remains, even as it is Iraqi freedom fighters fighting occupation, dehumanization and the rape and destruction of their land that are fighting America.
Thanks to 9/11 and the debacle in Iraq, millions now understand that if the corporatist media fails to report a story, if it chooses to ignore it, it is likely that it is a truth and a reality too inconvenient or damaging to those in power. Such a truth will in all likelihood be erased from reality, as if it never happened, as if its memory is but a hollow fantasy now trapped in the black hole of nothingness. Such is the case with the events of 9/11, which the corporatist media refuses to touch with a ten foot pole, that increasingly allows people everywhere to see for themselves that the corporatist media is as complicit in the atrocities, and the conspiracy, as those who carried it out.
While it was all too eager to do its part in unleashing psychological warfare against Americans on September 11, 2001 by disseminating an unending stream of horror and carnage on television, thereby planting the seeds of anger, hatred and a hunger for vengeance in the American mind, the corporatist media has shown a tremendous reluctance in conducting an investigation as to what indeed transpired on that fateful day. It is very strange that a pillar of America that claims to report truthful news, conduct investigative journalism and hold the power of the state to account has remained silent and inactive regarding the monumental events of the early 21st century. An institution that had a reputation for questioning the state has decided, almost without debate, to follow and believe, point for point, the official narrative of what really happened on 9/11.
The corporatist media has not once gone back to take an in-depth look at the seminal events of a day that resulted in the death of 3,000 people, choosing instead to take the government at its word regarding a conspiracy theory that looks more and more kooky the more time passes. Not once has the corporatist media questioned the official conspiracy theory, even when so many contradictions exist, even when so many so-called coincidences are apparent. Not once has the corporatist media done even a preliminary investigation into allegations that have and continue to surface.
One would think such an important event of history altering ramifications, the new Pearl Harbor of the 21st century, the destruction of three skyscrapers of the World Trade Center, the crashing of a plane into the most heavily defended building on the planet, would garner more than a cursory introspection or reliance on the official conspiracy theory. Yet when it comes to celebrity deaths, paternity tests and multi-million dollar inheritances the corporatist media will leave no stone unturned in order to bring us the truth of what really happened.
If bloggers and ordinary Internet reporting and investigating can uncover the lies and deceptions that led to an illegal war, if they can find the evidence pointing to the many scandals of the Bush administration, if they can find the vast evidence pointing to 9/11 being an inside job of monumental proportions the question arises why the corporatist media fails time and again to expose truth. The answer is not farfetched, nor is it hard to contemplate. The corporatist media are not a bunch of idiots, or buffoons, though they are a bunch of opportunists addicted to power and greed. Most know exactly what the bloggers and the Internet investigators have found, they simply ignore it, for this truth will get you burned.
Most know 9/11 was an inside job designed to become the New Pearl Harbor, opening up the globe to American hegemony, perpetually enriching the military-industrial-energy complex. They understand geostrategic decision-making and the hunger for profiteering through endless war. They understand the system is hungry, its appetite needing to be satisfied through the blood of Arabs and the flow of oil. To these individuals in the corporatist media, it is better to make a deal with the devil than to starve at the hand of truth. They understand that during war the state and those in power offer the corporatist media either the chance to be with those in power or against the state. Most chose to be on the side of the state, knowing that censorship must increase, dissent must disappear, debate must cease to exist and the views and policies of those holding the reins of power must be given credence above all. You are either with the state or against it, becoming a stenographer, a propagandist and an abettor of lies and deceptions or an enemy of those in power, your life ruined, your career in shambles, your reputation destroyed.
In times of war, the corporatist media is the Ministry of Truth and the Department of Propaganda fused together, lest the people be made aware what is done in their name, lest we see the horrors and destruction our leaders unleash upon humankind. Mobilized and conscripted to unleash psychological warfare against the people of America, the corporatist media thus becomes a most important weapon the state possesses, a way to hide the criminality and mass murder of the state, and our leaders.
For the many pseudo-journalists not banished or fired or censored for standing up to principle, those that remain and sell their souls to war and death and destruction, becoming manipulators, liars and propagandists, the silence and deceptions and lies they promulgate make them complicit in the worst crimes being committed by the state and its leaders. Betraying the foundations and principles of their profession, these little Goering’s become complicit in the same crimes they help cover up as well as those they help create.
In hiding truth and altering reality, in remaining silent and indifferent to the decimation of America’s rights and freedoms and liberties, to the death of 3,000 of her sons and daughters, to the creation of an illegal and immoral war based on lies and deceptions, the destruction of the foundations of America itself, they have become treasonous criminals to the principles and virtues of America, betraying 300 million Americans in the process. In a more perfect world, they would be held accountable for their crimes.

The Calling of Our Time

We must rescue the America we love from the duopoly ruining the country, its corruption and ignorance and indifference to the great silent majority becoming apparent each passing day. We must rid the airwaves of the vermin and the cockroaches who have sold their collective soul to the demons living among us. The process of transformation so many of us want, that of returning America to her people, while taking time, can be accelerated by altering the mechanism of duopoly and the role of the media. Both pillars of America have become corrupted beyond repair, becoming cesspools of waste onto themselves, needing complete destruction of their foundations so that they may live again, and flourish.
Both institutions need to be put out of their misery, needing desperately to find transfusions of new blood. They need new oxygen to breathe and thrive, having become corrosive tentacles of a system that is destroying America from within. The mobilization of Americans against duopoly, of ridding the country of the pestilence rotting Washington from inside, of sending out to pasture the elite that comprise the Congress and returning the House and Senate to their rightful owners must commence with an understanding that failure to act will only lead to greater corporatism, greater inequality and injustice, greater disaster for the masses, for all of us. We the People must awaken to the realization that the system is getting more corrupted, more criminal in nature, infested with worse and worse human beings. It will only get worse, and failure to act will lead to an America that we will soon not recognize. Those in Washington are ruining our country, our ways of live and the future of our children. It is time to return Washington to the People. It is time to return America to her children. It is time we leave our children better off than ourselves. It is time we actually mean it. Only a complete evolution of thought and governance can achieve this goal.
The corporatist media is dumbing us down, making us ignorant sheeple indifferent to the criminality taking place. It is ruining the minds of our youth, most of whom have become too disinterested in life beyond the self to take part in activism. Entire generations of children are addicted to television, unable to think for themselves, having the corporatist media implant thoughts and opinions into their minds. We must educate these millions of teens, twenty-somethings and thirty-somethings, whose idea of activism is downloading songs on to their IPod, in the reality and danger of our times. We must teach them truth and knowledge of what is being done to them and their futures. We must show them what 9/11 really was, and what it means for their lives. We must succeed in transforming them from indifferent couch potatoes into knowledgeable activists, for they are the future, they will be the ones who take the torch from the activists of the past.
The American people are at war with the corporatist media, and we must be victorious in the battle for truth. Since it will never expose 9/11 for what it was, and is, and will only tell lies and hide reality, We the People must become active in the dissemination of truth. We do not have its resources, but we have truth on our side. We do not have its money, but we have strength in numbers. We do not have its power of persuasion, but we have billions of hands and eyes, we have the collective mind of hundreds of millions of human beings, each possessing incredible and diverse talents and abilities. All that is needed is desire, passion and a quest for truth. We do not have its machinations, but we have momentum.
Without the participation of the silent majority the cover-up will continue, those responsible will never be brought to justice and America will never recover from its moral erosion. We must push beyond the boundaries of our limitations, seeking truth and justice at every street corner, disseminating 9/11 and Iraq war truth at every opportunity. Using the Internet we must spread like a virus, reaching into every mind that wants to know truth. Using the power of video we can spread truth like a wildfire burning through dry weeds, with flames jumping fences and gaining strength, becoming a giant firewall unstoppable and powerful.
There are millions of minds that are eager to have their eyes opened; they are only waiting for truth to touch them. We must open minds and rekindle long lost flames, sparking the fire of anger and the heat of activism. Millions want to join the Truth Movement, they are just waiting to see truth, to feel the silent anger inside their bodies and minds, to have truth point the way. Slowly, but surely, an entire army of truth will join us, ready to return enlightenment to America, ready to resurrect a nation slowly rotting to its core.
One activist can reach 1,000 people if he or she so chooses, using a plethora of tools at his or her disposal. One activist can do what the corporatist media cannot, spreading truth to the millions of spirits who desperately want to hear it, millions who are simply waiting to have their flame of truth lit. One activist, using her talents and abilities, can in one day change and alter the lives of a thousand people, and they in turn can change or alter the lives of 100,000 more. Her battlefield is the street corner, public transportation, freeways, bridges, email, her voice, DVDs and her undying passion for truth. Her main weapon is truth, for it is contagious, spreading like a most welcome virus from host to host. It engenders strength and conviction, passion and bravery.
In time, through great struggle and patience, under strength and unity, combining the many talents and abilities of the army of truth, the great silent majority, those waiting for truth to come knocking on their door, those angered by what America has become, what 9/11 spawned, will in a not too distant September morning march lock step to the Congress and the White House, demanding to reclaim what rightfully belongs to the People, banging the drums of change and of destiny, ready to alter or abolish a system that has failed miserably, ready to restore a nation crumbling, ready to unleash a new rebirth.
This is the Calling of Our Time, for 9/11 was a war declared against us, a battle not of our choosing, yet a battle against us nonetheless. In its clouds of toxic poison a pendulum was birthed, capable of swinging in two opposite and mutually exclusive directions: one, in the direction of the People, ready to take back their country and their government, returning freedom and rights and liberty to where they belong, saving the America we love, to be cherished by our future generations, or two, in the direction of corporatism and the elite, creating a police state, a nation of cameras and harassment, of invasive measures and censorship, of free-speech zones and authoritarianism, of ignorance and dumbed down minds, of work making one free, of slavery of thought and serfdom of life.
Only time will tell which way this 9/11 pendulum will swing, but swing it will do. Ominous times are upon us, yet so are days of bravery and courage. Corporatism and Power of the People are gearing up for a giant conflagration, and this can be read in history’s trends and seen in the present’s direction and path. Corporatism will be the inevitable result of failing to act, of failing to unite as one, as it has been growing over the last few decades. A clash of futures and destinies is on the horizon; which one will be victorious is up to the People, for only they can decide, only they can chose to become awake or remain asleep, only they can take action.
Can you hear that deep, silent anger inside you, pounding like a heavy iron fist on a wooden door, banging relentlessly every time you notice the America of your dreams vanish more each and every day, instead becoming a most unwelcome nightmare that you are impotent to wake up from? Can you feel the hollow pain in your bones, the restlessness running through your veins every time another freedom is gutted or another right is eviscerated, every time your government climbs one more step up the stairwell of corporatism?
Can you feel the reverberations of resentment echoing in your mind every time a politician votes to expand the power of the elitist and corporatist world, once more ignoring the will of the constituency, once more ignoring the voices of the electorate? Can you feel the frustration of being impotent to the machinations of a government once defined as of, by and for the People serving only the interests of money and becoming a government of, by and for the corporatist world?
Can you feel the collective anger of millions as the embedded myth of American exceptionalism is quashed through the attainment of knowledge, transforming the fictions of good into the realities of wickedness, mutating what we once believed into an inconvenient truth? Can you feel the betrayal of millions who for decades have been made to believe in the American myth of a nation benign and altruistic, only to become aware that only wickedness, greed and criminality define the Empire, that beyond the smoke and mirrors America’s government is ruthless, corporatist and concerned only for the interests of the elite? Can you feel the animosity growing against the corporatist media, whose lies and deceptions make it complicit both in the greatest crime ever to befall America and in the greatest strategic disaster ever?
Can you feel the silent anger growing, its tremors rising through the faults, ready to send shockwaves, knocking crumbling and corrupt foundations down? Can you feel the Calling of Our Time, that beautiful epoch fast approaching, when finally after years asleep, millions suddenly awake? Can you feel momentum, rising like a cloud, heading for the heavens, proclaiming truths aloud? The truth it is a rumbling, waking millions up, in time we will have an army, reclaiming a land once lost. The Calling of Our Time is upon us, let its pendulum swing towards truth.
Let silent anger light our flame, let truth guide our way.
