A Night at the Opera
A night at the opera
We're lost in the music,
and cannot hear the words
No one sleeps! No one sleeps. Even you, oh princess, in your cold room,
look at the stars that tremble with love and hope!
–Giacomo Puccini, Nessun Dorma

It's long past time to examine a strange anomaly in the human psyche.
Consider, if you will, the eerie irony that resonates in the brainspace
between these two facts. One: Free-thinking people who are thrown in
jail for disputing the nature of the deaths of certain Jewish people 50
years ago. Two: The utter current silence about families being
obliterated by white phosphorus in Iraq, probably 50 minutes ago. Or,
if you like, left to die on the streets of New Orleans, 50 days ago.
These bonechilling contrasts mirror the schizophrenic split in
contemporary society, where official versions of things tend NOT to be
accurate descriptions of the events that actually happened. Witness
Fallujah, and countless other daily examples of human depredation.
Do you have the perceptual skills and actualized courage to make the
connection?
Can you begin to realize that the shrouded myths of one also produced
the other?
Most people can't. Or won't. Or are paid not to.
Most people are so locked into their bills, priorities, routines,
addictions and commitments that they simply can't raise their heads
above the surface of the muck to see the puppeteers running their
scams, fleecing the gullible, and letting the rest of the world drown
unheeded and unaided in their sea of troubles.
And nobody bothers to make the connection that the operations of the
controllers directly relate to the tragedy-level in every single one of
our personal lives. Have you lost someone to perfidy lately? Many
people have, most of the people in the world, in fact. The fact that
Americans choose to hide their heads in brittle media fantasies doesn't
make those Third World victims of corporate carnage any less dead.
America has lost its soul, if it ever really had one. It has always
been about brutal killing of dark-skinned peoples who not only would
not but could not conform to the guilt-ridden, tight-assed standards of
White Anglo Saxon Protestants, whose sacred sanctimony masking
self-destructive existential fears plundered the entire Western
Hemisphere with its righteous rage, and then, when those continents
were sufficiently exploited and trashed, turned their attention to the
remaining unconquered regions of the world.
All the current crises are about hypocrisy, about the perceptual gap
between what they say is happening and what is actually happening. In
the tremendous distance between what is real and what they say is real,
all life on this planet is being deliberately and inexorably destroyed.
Now, here's the hard part.
The real problem is not with Zionist mindlocked media, which sabotages
our future by teaching first-graders to accept homosexuality and other
anarchist fantasies. Nor is it with a power structure that is riddled
with corruption and compulsion, because whatever we want to say about
them, they are ultimately only a reflection of our own composite
personality. If you don't admit this, you're being dishonest.
The real problem is what you believe, because it causes you to —
inadvertently or otherwise — destroy the planet.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: We are drowning in the
widening abyss between what they say is going on and what is actually
going on, and we need to eradicate that gap, or we will perish. That's
the deal.
If the dogma on which the thought is based is flawed, then the thought
itself cannot be anything but flawed. This is exactly why Americans
continue to bomb innocent people in Iraq, and many other places in the
world. Corporations are killing humanity for profit. And most of the
people in the world agree to be in on the gig.
Why — the hard part, now — do we agree to this? Why do we cower in our
plastic bowers and hope the storm passes, trying to at least enjoy
every minute before vaporization? Doesn't it make more sense to take
control, identify the perps, RICO the entire Congress (before sending
them all to Guantanamo), balance the budget, apologize to everyone, and
throw a party? What is the problem?
Why don't people get it? is my question. It's a tough pill to swallow,
admittedly. Crossing that thought boundary and finally understanding
that the U.S. government cares so little about you that it would
deliberately kill 3,000 people in the middle of New York City and then
blame it on Muslims so it could later bomb them. It's a picture of
America most people are afraid to look at. But after New Orleans, it’s
getting a lot less hard to.
Perhaps the Americans’ willingness to confront that immediate demon is
the key to the future. Because if we don't, and soon, we won't have
one. For sure, the one we will have will not be the one we want.

I’ve been kinda quiet about 9/11 lately. I’m as confused as anyone. The
only thing I know for sure is that the government lied about
everything, then covered up even their lies.
Theology professor David Ray Griffin said this summer that controlled
demolition of the Twin Towers “can be proved beyond a reasonable
doubt.”
Retired Air Force Lt. Col. George Nelson has toured the nation with one
sentence. “The plane that hit the South Tower was not a passenger
airliner.”
Nico Haupt is my favorite 9/11 researcher, even though we disagree on a
few major points. But anybody who has been thrown out of as many
meetings as he has has to have something important to say.
Here’s his latest 9/11 update:
1. Flight 77 and 11 did NOT exist!!
2. Radar analysis and FAA audio transcripts clearly prove that
theoretical stand-in planes did not arrive in NYC.
3. TV Coverage proves a manipulation of passenger statistics and
criminal involvement of United Airlines, American Airlines and AP.
MSNBC confirmed at around 1 PM EST, that "UA175" was right on schedule
and did not hit the South Tower.
4. The majority of the 9/11 truth movement does not confront phony TV
footage from Sep11th, which obviously worked with VR and therefore
supports media deceptions and the continuation of the 9/11 cover-up.
5. The majority of the supporters of point 1-4 are also supporters of
the evidence of controlled demolitiion and therefore reject any
criticism or sabotage of alleged distractive tactics or
disinformation!!
Furthermore a MUST reading:

Admirably concise roundup, I’d say. Put the plane/no plane controversy
off to the side and scrutinize the data.
How many ways there are to prove treason on the part of the Congress,
the Judiciary and the President I do not know. But there are many.
Everybody gets deflected by distractions: the Plame case, Sibel
Edmonds, the Berg beheading .... the list is monstrous and endless.
What we have is more than ample proof that 9/11 was an inside job
concocted by diabolical politicians whom you all know oh so well and
who are chiefly responsible for most of the carnage taking place in the
world today.
You know the names. Exactly who knew what is not important. This gang
is out to kill us all, everyone who harbors the hope that on this
planet it is their right (and duty) to think for themselves is on the
eligibility list for Camp Chertoff.

I think of American justice as at an all-time low at this moment in
time, so I almost choked on my pretzel last night when Sami Al-Arian’s
son got up to the microphone and thanked the American system of justice
for working.
Al-Arian, of course, is the former University of South Florida
professor who has been pillaged by the Patriot Act (and the Jewish
community) for his so-called terrorist ties to Islamic Jihad, which
opposes the insane and conscienceless Israeli state.
His son, Abdullah Al-Arian, a cleancut college student, thanked the
system, but he meant the jury, which rejected the U.S. government’s
phony contention that his father abetted terrorism in a definitive way.
The professor has been jailed in a maximum security prison for almost
four years because of spurious allegations against him for defending
the Palestinian people.
Because the most horrible thing is that even after Dr. Al-Arian was
acquitted — the jury did not reach a verdict on several peripheral
charges, 10-2 for acquittal — he has not been released from jail.
The legal strategy to win with the jury and not bring up the wider
issues of Israeli genocide against its native population did win him
his acquittal, despite the presence of more than 80 witnesses brought
in from Israel to further defame the professor and FBI/IRS harassment
of those who tried to support him.
Likely, he’ll be deported, like all the other Palestinians who’ve been
harassed by the government, even though his kids are all
dyed-in-the-wool Americans.
And it made me think: Who would we rather have as an American citizen:
Sami al-Arian, a family man devoted to noble causes, or George W. Bush,
the greatest mass murderer in recent years?
And, is this what we all face when we come to trial for trying to
ascertain the truth of our lives? Will we, too, be punished for looking
for justice against criminals with guns and money?
Under the present system, you can count on it.
